Getting There

Only 248 kms north-east of Melbourne, Mt Buller is Australia’s most accessible major alpine resort. It’s only a short three hour drive through picturesque countryside by self-drive vehicle, chauffeured snow limo or a choice of comfortable coaches. Or take a helicopter for a quick 45 minute trip.

For those who choose to self-drive, a gate fee at Mirimbah Resort Entry gains access for your entire stay. Continue up the fully sealed road for about 20 minutes to the village carparks where attend-ants will advise where to park. Although the roads are cleared of snow as required, it is compulsory to carry wheel chains in your vehicle. From the carparks, oversnow 4WD taxis bring you to the hotel.

Once in the resort it is easy to get around the village. Enjoy a scenic walk, take the free village shuttle with designated stops or the resort taxis for door to door service.
